January has been and gone and perhaps now you can take the padlock off your purse and perk up the house up with a new style. Here I’ve compiled a few on trend items I’ve spotted where you can get a similar stylish look for a much thriftier price. Enjoy!
I am really loving this bold polka dot print that I have seen in quite a few new season ranges recently. It makes a nice change from the pastel dot style that has been so popular with the rise and rise of the shabby chic look these last few years. Of course Cath Kidston is my go to for this sort of thing but as I was flicking through my H&M catalog I noticed a similar print. The designs aren’t exactly the same, in fact each item comes in at less than half the price of the Cath Kidston original. This look gives a bit more of a modern twist and just a few accessories could easy brighten up any space.
I think the H&M apron in red is particularly fun, and it also comes in lots of other colours, including a more muted light grey which is still bold, but also rather chic. I’ve been looking for a vibrant table cloth and either of these two would look fantastic, although I admit this black and white polka dot cake tin did catch my eye. This lamp is also rather irresistible, and a rather unique way of bringing the big dot style.
