Living Arrows

I have been desperate to capture your wonderful smile this week, but you evade me once more and this little look makes me think you’re doing it on purpose!  Your face changes everyday, you’re growing out of your newborn clothes and even though I try to capture it all I feel it is evading me.  I had forgotten what it was like to look deep into a babies eyes and feel so so in love, even without words.

This week you found the paint and inspired by this photo from last week I thought, heck, lets give it a go.  Of course, you decided to wipe your hands all over your stomach, your face and in your hair, but that’s what we have baths for I guess.  It made you so happy that even the mess can’t put me off letting you loose with it again.  Your dad and I spent this week reminiscing about your life so far, how much you have learnt as you turn two on Wednesday. What an amazing time it has been.

So much cuteness! I’m glad you tried the finger painting. I’m all about letting go and not worrying too much about the mess these days! :)

The photo of your toddler almost gives me palpitations! I haven’t really ‘done’ paint with my 2 and a half year old LP yet because I’m scared of the mess!
Love the photos and the black and white adds to them x

Sometimes I think insanity takes me over when I let him willingly create chaos!

Love both of these, her eyes look absolutely beautiful in the first pic. And the bottom one is very cheeky. ;0) x

You might have missed the elusive smile, but those are definitely smiling eyes. And I don’t think you can beat a messy toddler picture!
